What a pathetic experience with Fat Stacks... Disappointment would be an utter understatement, and the treatment from the staff is even worse - definitely won't be coming back, ever, after how we were treated... Yet another business that doesn't care for its customers when something goes wrong! We spent a little over $110 here, only to receive sub-par food, chicken that was cooked with BURNT oil, and a thick shake that wasn't as advertised. To start, the burgers weren't that great, the bottom bun had absorbed moisture from the lettuce and tomato, resulting in a disgusting and soggy bottom bun. The burger overall wasn't anything to brag about. Didn't taste like any Angus meat I've ever had, just regular beef really... The veg patty has way to much cumin in it, which is unnecessary and kills the overall flavour of a falafel type patty. Your so called "Cookies and cream" thick shake not only had no resemblance to cookies & cream, it was not as you advertised it. It didn't come with any cream or toppings... Furthermore, all it tasted like was a disgustingly chocolate-rich milkshake with a few cookie pieces.... Far stretch from a cookies and cream thick shake... To add insult to injury, the worker handed it to me calling it an "Oreo" thick shake.. 🥹 It was that sweet and sickening from all the chocolate sauce, we didn't even want to finish more than half of it... What a waste of money. And to wrap things up - you've served us chicken tenders cooked in burnt oil. No, the tenders themselves weren't burnt. The oil itself is burnt. Now, I didn't notice it much, as you doused the tenders in sauce, however, when I ordered some tenders without sauce for my daughter, I was in the midst of eating my third tender when I noticed a burnt taste, as hers came out, I gave them a quick sniff, and yep, burnt oil. This is absolutely disgusting, as your cooks should be able to smell the burning oil - they should have dropped it, cleaned the fryer, and replaced it with new oil. I've worked in the industry previously for over 4 years, so I know what burnt seed oil smells like... It's a disgusting smell, and can't be good to consume. Your staff are incompetent, rude and not customer-orientated. I have not been this disappointed in a burger joint for a while. It's hard to stuff up a burger, but you guys managed to stuff up more than one item! It's hard to depict anything from my photos, tho look at how dark the tenders are compared to other reviews - and look at the pathetic excuse of a thick shake compared to other reviews... Definitely a 0 out of 5 stars if I had the option. Very disappointed, especially given we travelled over 30 minutes to get here.

This popular Northside burger joint known for their massive loaded burgers, has gone viral for their Raising Cane’s dupe, so we tried them out to see if it lived up to the hype! We tried: 🍗 Fatty Finger Box 🧀 Mozzarella Sticks 🍔 Aussie Stak 🍔 Bbqbobba 🧀 Mac n Cheese 🍯 Hot Honey Sauce If you’re looking to try their Raising Cane’s dupe, the menu item you’ll want to order is their Fatty Finger Box, which comes with 3 super crispy and juicy chicken tenders, fries, garlic toast, and their creamy and tangy dupe sauce for dipping. I personally have never tried Raising Cane’s so I have no idea what this is like compared to the real deal, but it was delicious regardless! Their mozzarella sticks had a crunchy outer breading and super stretchy melted cheese inside, which paired perfectly with their new hot honey sauce - a yummy mix of sweet and spicy. We got 2 of their popular burgers and they were soooo stacked and really well priced at $21.90 for the Aussie and $19.90 for the Bbqbobba. The Bbqbobba came with their 12hr slow-cooked pulled pork and it was delicious! The mac and cheese croquettes were one of my favourites, it was rich and cheesy with great flavour.

So my hubby and I went here tonight for tea, and it was honestly amazing. So many options for vegetarians (unlike McDonalds!!)! The photo shows the #vegiesqueaky burger, cheese fries on the bottom, and the #neverguess vegan fries on the top. The food was brilliant, so tasty! The man who served us was incredibly friendly and polite and took pride in asking us how our food was at the end of our visit. The ambience in the restaurant was very welcoming, lovely and unique lighting, pleasant music that wasn't too loud, the toilets were clean, fresh water available with a range of sauces to help yourself to. I can't believe we've lived so close but never been here before. 10/10 for sure!!

Bought 2 lots of tenders, one with sauce and one without. Only ate 2 of the ones with sauce as the oil was completely burnt, one ones without sauce were completely inedible. I took them over and told the person serving and she said she can make something else. I said I don't want anything else, I wanted a refund. She said "Well we change the oil everyday and we don't do refunds so we can only make something else." Aside from the fact there is no way that oil was changed today, I said I don't want anything made in that oil because it's clearly burnt and anything else will be will clearly be just as bad. She got the manager's daughter over who only agreed to a refund after I said I am entitled to one under the consumer law. They only refunded ONE of the TWO tenders purchased, but considering how bad they made us feel for requesting our money back in the first place, we just needed to get out of there asap. Since looking at reviews, the photos of their tenders are a completely different, light colour to the burnt ones we received.

Furthermore, their cookies and cream thick shake was disgusting and tasted of cheap chocolate syrup. Not sure how people are getting these fancy looking thick shakes in these reviews. Ours was completely basic looking and didn't even have any Oreos yet when she brought it out she called it Oreo thick shake. Both burgers we ordered were super average. Only good thing was the chips.

Spent over $100 with these guys and definitely won't be back. Don't waste your...

Visited Fat Jak’s Bundoora yesterday for dinner and had a really disappointing experience. Shortly after we arrived, the waitress accidentally spilled a raspberry drink all over one of us. Mistakes happen, but what made it worse was that no compensation or even a proper apology was offered. We were simply moved to another table and left to deal with it ourselves. The mess from the drink was not cleaned up until 1 hour later. The food was nothing special — very average and definitely not worth the price. To top it off, the meat we were served was undercooked and just not enjoyable. Overall, a really poor experience and definitely won’t be coming back.

In response to below comment: Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate the response, but I just want to clarify that after the drink was spilled on one of us, we weren’t really offered any real form of compensation for the inconvenience — simply replacing the spilled drink (spilled by your employee) isn’t the same, especially when the clothes were stained (white top, red drink) and the situation was quite uncomfortable. Also, regardless of whether there was laughter, it doesn’t change the fact that we left feeling disappointed — not just by the accident, but also by the food quality. I hope you do take the feedback seriously, because customers deserve better care and attention, especially when...
