Stunning park located near the water. I love how people plan and create something that they’ll never see come to fruition. A beautiful Park with many trails, variety of plants and trees and plenty of grassy areas. Being autumn. Some trees were amazing. Popular for wedding photographs. Plenty of entry points - pick the one close to your car perhaps. Was quite taken back by the avenue of palms - thank you to the designers of this park. Well thought out. Notes: toilets nearby. Plenty of picnic tables and benches to sit on. Parking is good but not free. Dogs allowed on leash.

Williamstown Botanic Gardens is filled with beautiful plants — such a lovely and peaceful spot! The row of palm trees adds a tropical charm to the scenery. It’s located just across from the beach, an easy walk along the waterfront. This place wasn’t too crowded on the weekend. There were people having picnics, walking their dogs, chatting, and even some tour groups enjoying the space together. It’s incredibly close to the sea and perfect for photography, relaxing, or simply clearing our mind.

So lovely to walk around this quiet little gardens. We take our fur baby there almost every second weekend. There's always something new to see - a new flower, changing leave colours and birds. Sometimes people have picnics so it can be less quiet but its still lovely to hear the laughter. There are plenty of little nooks for a private gathering with friends. This is a free venue and does not require tickets to enter. Check gate opening times though.

I was on the prowl for a little slice of paradise, and that's when I stumbled upon the Williamstown Botanic Gardens. Nestled by the sea, with rare trees that held more secrets than a crooked politician, this joint was a hidden gem. The joint opened its doors in 1860, and ever since, it's been a sanctuary of peace and tranquility.

You got everything a fella could wish for here – a formal palm avenue that'll make you feel like a high roller strutting down the Vegas Strip, and an ornamental pond with a dash of that classy Edwardian charm. It's enough to make even the toughest mug shed a tear of joy.

I took a gander at the intricate pathways, winding like a twisted plot in one of those noir novels. Every step I took, the scent of those botanical wonders wrapped around me like a femme fatale's seductive perfume.

As I settled down on the cool green lawns, I couldn't help but daydream about the good ol' days. Back when dames wore flowing dresses, and gents tipped their hats like it was a sacred ritual. This place had a way of making you feel nostalgic, even if you never lived through those times.

A picnic with a bottle of the good stuff and a view of the sea – that's what I call living the life. The Williamstown Botanic Gardens – a joint that knows how to tickle your senses and steal your heart. You'd be a wise guy not to...
