Williamstown unfortunately doesn’t have many good choices of food venues and Tik Tok was one of the best. Unfortunately over this last year I have noticed a decline in quality on all aspects. Staff sit inside and talk with one another instead of monitoring patronage seated on outside on tables. Tables are always uncleared from previous customers and birds swarm these tables and feed from these plates. It’s not clear if it’s table service or self service and after sitting on a table for 15 minutes in a non busy environment I go inside to order to find staff huddled having a chat and ignoring their customers seated outside. Within this last year every time I sit on a table I always have to ask the staff to wipe down the table. The quality of the food is not of standard as it used to be either. When I am served a coffee and it’s already spilt into my saucer and I need to ask for serviettes and this coffee nearly costs $5 it actually is something to talk about and I am wondering really what care factors go into preparation of beverages and meals. I’m really sorry I have to write this but there are issues that need to be...
Read moreI entered the establishment with my hopes set very high but was soon disappointed having to order at the counter like a pheasant. The scenery was quite nice with the kitchen door being right next to us as we were exposed to swearing and the amazing culture shared by the Lebanese. The toast did not come with butter pre-applied which was disappointing, yet thoughtful. The quinoa salad which was considered the breakfast bowl was “pretty good” but the potato was salty, and the addition of a bit more kale would have been exemplary. The tables were nice and the chairs are comfortable, but a foot massager would have been great. The seat cushion fell off when I tipped the seat forward and one time the cushion was we when it was raining which put a dampen on my excitement and gave me moist panties. A piece of quinoa was lodged in my teeth and was difficult to remove. The brick wall was too close as I could nearly touch it, but yet too far away. However dining at this establishment was honestly the best day of my life, and I would...
Read moreOn the 2nd of September, I visited TikTok, and my experience was marred by an encounter with a lady whose demeanor was strikingly condescending. She seemed to judge some patrons harshly, especially those whose attire differed slightly or who spoke with an accent. It was disheartening to see her attentiveness wane; she visibly perked up to bid farewell to certain customers but completely ignored the goodbyes of others.
When it was my turn to order, I approached the counter with anticipation, eager to enjoy a warm cup of chai tea. However, as I tapped my card to pay, she instructed me to wait beside the register until the telltale beep of the card reader signaled that my payment had processed. It felt oddly dismissive, as if my presence was an inconvenience.
Finally, she handed me my drink, and to my dismay, it was a cold chai tea instead of the comforting cup I had envisioned. The experience left me feeling somewhat unwelcome in a place that should have...
