Braithwaite Park — Attraction in Mount Hawthorn

I really enjoy this park. It is very relaxing to sit down at the benches and enjoy nature.

I like to send my Grandson down here when he has too much energy and make him run laps for 7 hours until he calms down and sits still at the dinner table. Well maintained and secured park for adults and children alike. Excellent amenities like Children's Playground, Barbecue Burners, Picnic Tables, brand new Toilets, garden with well manicured lawns and large trees for shade. Ample free parking bays around the park. A good stopover for an open air break from shopping or travel, with a hot and fresh organic pizza and a drink from nearby...

They just replaced the lovely pre-fabricated kids climbing equipment with a much smaller piece, less creative, clearly cheaper. Now our kids who have played on it for years are too old for the new climbing piece because it is not designed for the wide age group the old equipment used to serve. Probably worth 4 stars as a place to visit but so disappointed with the Council's...
