Britannia Road Reserve — Attraction in Leederville

Such a great park. The walk around is over 1.5kms perfect for runs and walking the dog. The playgrounds are fun for kids and the undrover area is useful incase of rain. The Leederville cricket club is a great community sport with good pitches and plenty of nets for practice. Soccer is clearly very popular and there is plenty of room for matches and training. It's a dog friendly and very community based environment. The parking lot is good for learners practice and three no chance of not finding a spot since there are at least 100 spots. The new edition of a bike track is great for kids and teens to enjoy some off road thrills with big jumps and turns. This is a great big park for all ages and abilities, it's accessible and fun. I often go for evening strolls after a hard days work in the garden. Britannia has a splendid view of Perth's skyline at night, although from the south side the bathrooms are a hefty walk for an old boy like me. Having IBS, after a desperate dash down the path, I just couldn't make it. There was no other option besides painfully emptying last nights chicken tikka masala in the dense shrubbery. Nice park. Great paved walking track around perimeter of park. Good for dogs to run free no busy roads and closed in most side. Good for kids 2 playground either end and a off road bike track. BBQ available Toilet only on East side of park. Even being so close to the Fwy not so much noise, especially on the far side of park and with all the trees you can't see it at all.
