This place is a place you desperately want to fall in love with. From their rich Italian immigrants heritage to the gorgeous Tuscan style villa that houses this establishment. The lady who hosted us was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the wines and the winery. However. The Italian wines were rather unidimentional. The Barbera was reasonably easy to drink, we got a bottle of that. The sangiovese and terodego lacked depth and complexity. Having said that, this is a lovely place to drop by to have a few wines by the glass and sit in their impressive vine pagola. On a positive note, the limited edition fangolino is absolutely delicious. Sweet and delightfully fruity with just a pleasant sour tang. Get yourself a bottle before they sell out.

Have driven past this place for 20 years on route to Bright and have many regrets about not stopping in sooner. The wine was great, the snacking board great, the hostess was freaking wonderful. Definitely worth the stop. ❤️

🍷 Michelini Wines A Celebration of Marzemino & Teroldego Excellence

Michelini Wines has truly mastered the art of crafting exceptional reds, and their Marzemino and Teroldego are nothing short of spectacular. These varietals—rarely seen in Australian vineyards—are handled with finesse, resulting in wines that are both distinctive and deeply satisfying.

Marzemino offers a vibrant, aromatic profile with notes of wild berries, violets, and a whisper of spice. It’s elegant yet playful, perfect for those who appreciate a red with personality and finesse.

Teroldego, on the other hand, is bold and structured, with rich dark fruit, earthy undertones, and a velvety finish. It’s a wine that commands attention and rewards slow sipping.

Michelini’s commitment to showcasing these Northern Italian gems in the Alpine Valleys is a testament to their innovation and respect for tradition.

For red wine lovers seeking something truly special, Michelini Wines is a destination...

They had outdoor seating, so we asked to sit outside and taste a few wines. We were told it was impractical as they had 10 wines. We said we only wanted to taste 1 or 2 and got the same response - it was impractical. Not sure why there would be outdoor seating and not offer service at the outdoor seating ? We went down the road to the next cellar door that welcomed us and executed with perfection what this place said was...
