Read moreI took my 4 grandchildren there to play but it is a pretty boring playground by today's standard. I have suggested that Maitland should have a playground like the one at Speers Point only better (including an out of this world skatepark) that park was fantastic when first built but we are going into 2018 and designers have had enough time to get the safety issues worked out and should be able give today's kids a fun , adventurous, gross - motor workout without compromising on safety. A playground like that would have kids begging their parents to bring them to Maitland and with that comes retail spending which would hopefully create more jobs as well. Come on Maitland Council give parents and grandparents a fun place to take the kids where we don't have to pay to enter,...

Outside this area is a scooter/bike track and access to Maitland indoor/outdoor pool. The park itself is well maintained the lawns and gardens looked incredible. Plenty of beautiful trees that offer great shaded...
