The Queensland State Rose Garden is a stunning haven for rose enthusiasts and garden lovers alike. The beautifully landscaped garden showcases a wide variety of roses, each more vibrant and fragrant than the last. Walking through the garden is a delight for the senses, with well-maintained pathways and informative plaques that provide interesting details about the different rose varieties.

The garden is impeccably kept, and the blooms are a testament to the care and dedication of the gardeners. It’s a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, photography, or simply relaxing amidst the beauty of the roses. There are plenty of benches and shaded areas to sit and enjoy the view.

Great spot to get some nice air/go for a walk on an evening. We went here on our way back from the flower festival and sadly it wasn't the rose season so there weren't many roses but it was still very nice and peaceful out there. They have plenty of seating (including covered areas) if you want to sit down and have your food. They also have bathrooms that are quite clean. There's also a small function room that you can hire, although I'm not sure what the process is - probably look online if you're...

Nice and quite good place for the whole family. Plenty of parking space during the week day. The paths are wheelchair and pram friendly. Big green areas to play in. And a lot of different types of roses to see and smell. An ideal place for a wedding as they have a wedding gazebo. Toilets are close by. Bbq areas and playground are close by to. And has a lot of info about the history of the park. Highly recommend going to have a look 🙂🙂.

Visited Newtown Park with a client for lunch. There we sat at one of the many picnic tables under the shade of the trees. At Newtown park there are sports ovals, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds, bbqs, toilet blocks and undercover areas. The Rose Gardens that are a part of Newtown Park are a must see when they are in season. Definetly bring yourself and the whole family down to visit the park and gardens!
