NEW BREW CAFE — Restaurant in Queensland

Just went in to grab a drink was going to get something else, but changed my mind while I waited. the gentleman on the grill was turning the bacon and steak on the grill with a pair of tongs, then turned around used the same set of tongs to get a piece of carrot cake out and put on a plate, then turned back to flipping the bacon with the same tongs.

He then turned around to plate some cheesecake and knocked it into the bin, he was in the process of pulling it out of the bin to plate it when he saw me watching him and put it back in the bin. I placed my juice back in the fridge and walked out.

I wish I could give zero stars and knew a way to warn more people. Anyone in food service knows you do not cross contaminate utensils, especially with peoples...

Went here for breakfast with my partner this morning on the public holiday. All staff were so welcoming and had the warmest smiles and attitudes. The service was lovely! And the food.. incredible! Could not fault one thing! Only thing is how hot it is outside with only outside seating but I can’t blame them for working with what they’ve got! Will definitely be coming back here as a regular customer. Soo many people came through getting coffees and after trying a coffee I can see why. One of the best coffees I have had in town....

Seems always busy so we stopped by for a quick coffee and work chat. Staff very very attentive and friendly, however, it is a really noisy and loud corner location unless you're getting coffee to go. The seats were also looking into some messy office space with no blinds or anything which wasn't great. My apologies for being super critical. I'll visit again and would definitely change my review if anything...
