This museum is a must do! Big collection of amazing old things in a nice building which also has a model display built in clay of the old town of Oberon. outside lots of farm machinery and timber logging machinery. A big new shed with all the timber industry information and interesting pieces of equipment used in the past. Then a gorgeous old cottage that was rescued and restored. It is so well presented and for only $5 for adults it’s absolutely fantastic value! I really really enjoyed my visit and the museum is constantly evolving and up grading so I will visit again.

A fantastic collection of local history, the rooms were clean and full of light. The displays were not overly cluttered although not to many information plaques on the pieces. The vollunteer was lovely and helpful. Unfortunately the train station and yard train yard was closed off.

We really enjoyed our visit to this local museum. It's a credit to the volunteers. Wow. Everything was really clean and some of the restorations were really well done And some of the staff were very knowledgeable. We recommend spend a few hours here you won't regret it.
