Oberon Pies & Pastries — Restaurant in Oberon

Made a great call into Oberon Pies & Pastries after having lunch next door at the Royal Hotel. The hotel doesn't sell coffee and the staff recommended the bakery next door for a hot brew. We were greeted by friendly staff, two young ladies and immediately we noticed the awesome looking Custard Slice in the display cabinet and had to indulge. Wow - full of taste and just sensational daily fresh baked goods here. The girls also helped us with some handy directions for some local sight-seeing. This bakery is a highly recommended stop in Oberon - we had no stomach room left...

Was at the Good Food and wine show in melb today, sun 5th June. Purchased 2 pastries. BOTH were completely underbaked... returned them and got my money back. If you people want to promote a product that has the potential to be a 'niche' product learn how to bake first. If you are after making quick money you will end up nowhere as you apparently have no idea about baking pastry properly. If you need help I can help you as I do a lot of baking! For the best pies and sausage rolls. Full of meat and flavour. And if you like fresh cream over fake you need to try the cakes and pastries here. The Staff and management are always happy to see both new and old faces. This is the go to place for your morning coffee, sweet treat or delicious lunch. Ps, try their Banh Mi (pork or chicken bread rolls) and spring rolls for that taste of authentic Vietnamese cusine. I love this place… I’ll keep...
