Great park. Great amenities, even towels for standing on in the showers. Camp kitchen has everything, even a Pizza oven. Very compact park. Sites are smallish, even drive throughs would not be able to take some of the big rigs today. Other than that it's a great park close to Mildura Central shopping centre, Aldi etc. We stay there every year.

I have never seen a root system like this. It certainly would have been hard work to remove these. But travelling in this drought ravaged countryside, I wonder what environmental damage has been done by removing these drought resistant trees. Maybe it's time to re-plant them before the whole area becomes a dust bowl.

The " Mallee Root Stump " is the largest ROOT from a Mallee Tree ever found and is displayed at the Blackburn Park entrance of the Calder Highway in Ouyen. Easy access with clean Toilet, Shaded Trees, Picnic Tables and lawn.

I have never seen a root system like this. It certainly would have been hard work to remove these. Great day for all ages, beautiful lake side camping. Live music really good, activities were free and a good laugh for participants & observers. Food choices were limited and costly, mostly 'bland junk' offerings. A BBQ with the lot would have been greatly supported, as would a big bomb fire with a few of...
