Swagman Jack Cafe — Restaurant in Victoria

This was the only place that was open for food on Sunday afternoon when we arrived to Ouyen on our way to Adelaide. We ordered a family chicken pizza chips and a vegetarian sandwich with wholemeal bread. We waited inside as there were 2 large tables with a TV. Inside needs dusting and cleaning. We got the pizza but not the sandwich. We were told that they forgot that we ordered it! When I finally got it was made with white bread! Don’t waste your time. Went and ordered two items. Ten minutes after ordering, they come back and say that they are out of what I ordered. Then waited over another 20 minutes for a serving of hot chips. I could have prepared and cooked them myself in that time. No idea how to run a good business, and we were even waiting the longest. Total waste of time. If you take an order, then someone delivers it to the cooking area, surely you would have an idea that you are out of stock! I love it here. There is only one or two staff working here but you get what you pay for. Staff are friendly, you can stop and talk to them.

Chicken is the best part of the place. You can also ask staff to make you a sandwitch if it looks like they are sold out.

Hot chocolates are real and to die for. It is also close to the school so school kids dont have to walk very far.
