My visit to Port Elliot was a lovely and refreshing coastal getaway. The town has a charming, relaxed feel, and it’s easy to see why it’s a favourite holiday spot for many.
Horseshoe Bay was the highlight for me — the beach is small but beautiful, with calm, clear waters perfect for swimming. The surrounding rocks and cliffs give the area a unique character, and the walking paths along the coastline offer some amazing views of the ocean. I even spotted a few dolphins in the distance, which made the day even more memorable.
The historic feel of the town adds to its charm. I enjoyed walking around the main street, visiting local shops and cafes. The Port Elliot Bakery is definitely worth a stop — the line was long, but the pastries were delicious.

Overall, Port Elliot is a perfect spot for a calm and scenic day trip or...

Flying fish cafe isnt something I would rate highly, but worth the walk from the far end for an ice-cream. There is a nice lawn and tree area down by the surf club and a great jetty. Walking around the rocks in summer to watch the...
