It's refreshing to have a local store jam packed with locally sourced/SA based produce. Reigning from the Riverland and being aware of industry I'll seldom buy stone fruit in the supermarket, yet here I can easily buy nectarines, peaches etc. knowing the name of the SA producer. They also stock great cheeses etc. from nearby, and their salads and juices are always fresh and delicious. Hot foods such as their tarts are melt in the mouth divine. Very impressive fresh food store in the main street of Port Elliot (western end). The current owners have been here two years, and everything is organic and locally sourced. There is a huge array of produce on offer from jams and sauces to fresh fruit and veggies.
