Worst service I have ever received.

Came in with a large group of around 18 of us - the staff were surly, rude and bouncers were hanging around our table (at 8:30pm).

When they forgot to bring one drink for over 40 minutes we complained - their excuse was that we were "too intoxicated" and were no longer serving us because "people at your table were falling asleep".

The person "falling asleep" was was actually me, (two drinks over 2 hours before this incident FYI) leaning on my fiance's shoulder. When asked by staff if we were falling asleep I immediately and clearly jokingly replied "yep, sure am." (In case your staff need a refresher, people who are asleep don't usually answer back.)

When I went to speak to the manager and staff member in question they apologised for "making me feel uncomfortable" but "were just doing their job".

I've worked in hospitality for 8 years, have an RSA and know the laws. 99% of the time, I side with the staff because I know how hard the job is. But our table was nothing but polite to servers, we weren't overly intoxicated, and you blamed forgetting a drink 20 minutes before I "fell asleep" on the customer instead of just apologising. You weren't doing your job, you were being rude to paying customers who weren't being rowdy or disruptive.

To top off this disgusting service, the pizza was terrible and had no toppings - I've worked in a gourmet pizza place for 3 years so I know what pizza should look and taste like (even sent the below pictures to my old boss to have a laugh). The chips were just okay and the salad was just a salad. Not only that, but half the table didn't drink their ciders because they tasted watery and flat. Great thing to hear for a brewery.

All in all I'll never be returning, and rest assured I'll be telling everyone about the...

I visited little creatures on this Friday evening 10/5/24 looking to end the week by treating myself and my dogs to a nice dinner together out of the house after a hard weeks work. I arrived at 1800 placing my order via me&u (tapping on the table) at 1808 then proceeded to wait patiently for my hard earned meal beer and nuggets for my dogs. After 20 minutes I thought it was odd that my drinks had not yet come out but being footy night in town I assumed they might be a bit under the pump with patrons. A family came and sat at the table next to me with all tables surrounding me being occupied at this point, roughly 10 minutes after the family sat down there food and beverages appeared so now I know there has been a mistake made by the venue. After the wait staff had delivered the food to there table they proceeded to ask all tables surrounding me if they were waiting on anything or needing anything else, I received no verbal contact from staff this happened twice more ( I can't fathom what made them avoid me) before I decided that 55 minutes was long enough and I would ask for a refund. The manager gave me a refund on the spot but I'm pretty disappointed there was no attempt at an offer of apology. So after my long week I tackled footy traffic to come from north Geelong waiting over 50 minutes for no service leaving the venue quite irritable and am writing a review in my kitchen waiting for my 2 minute noodles to heat up which I'm sure are going to be a far worse dining experience than if I had of just not been overlooked by incompetence and unawareness by all staff working tables in the...

Visiting from out of town so we popped in. Good food & cool vibe aesthetically but the service was stifled.

The general floor staff were sweet & accommodating but we were initially greeted by a man who was a manager of sorts - carrying around a laptop & looking like it was a bother we were even there. Odd considering he was the one to come up to us.

We palmed his cold customer service off as potentially having walked in on his bad or busy day. But the way he dealt with us overall was border-line rude. My partner asked a question about the menu & received an abrupt “it’s all online”.

Also, I have never been to a brewery (and I’ve been to a lot) where our dog hasn’t been allowed in some part of the facility.

We didn’t even think of it as an option that he wouldn’t be because no brewery has ever turned him away.

We could respect it though so we tied him out the front away from people. He was in a corner comfortably laying down & not intruding - just as any dog would in front of any cafe or restaurant or bar or brewery.

Apparently we couldn’t leave him outside unless we sat with him…in the cold & rain.

Weird honestly.

I’m sure not all the staff are this way but it only takes one or two grumps behind the desk to turn folks off the whole establishment.

Have your rules, by all means…but don’t be rude about it.

It’s all good though.

If it’s a bother have customers we just won’t be customers...
