The food was overall decent and I would give it a 4 out of 5. The curry and dessert were both very enjoyable. However, the noodles were noticeably salty compared to other Thai restaurants I have visited, and the coconut rice tasted more like jasmine rice with a mild coconut flavour. Typically, coconut rice has a sweeter and more distinct coconut taste, which was missing here.
What significantly affected my overall experience was the service, which I would rate as a 1. The restaurant was not busy at all—only three tables were occupied—but it still took quite a while for us to receive the menu. We asked for a bottle of water, but it arrived nearly 20 minutes later, and only after we reminded the staff twice. At the end of the meal, I asked for a takeaway container and expected it to be brought to the table. Instead, the staff went to the next table and began setting it up with cutlery and napkins, completely ignoring us. I felt overlooked. I eventually had to get up and ask again for the container, as well as for the dessert menu, which also took another 10 minutes to arrive—by which point she had again forgotten the container.
Generally, I consider myself to be a patient person, but having to wait that long just for basic things like a menu and a takeaway container—especially when the place was far from busy—was quite disappointing.

Read moreIf I could rate this restaurant 0 stars, I would because it doesn’t even deserve 1. Ordered through Ubereats, delivered within an hour, no problems there. But upon receiving it and getting inside, I went to open the pad Thai and I could already feel how oily it was when opening the container. I ordered the vegetarian pad Thai and Rotti bread with peanut sauce, the pad Thai was basically a $20 meal covered in charred bits despite it not being burnt so it makes me think they don’t clean the items they cook with and a river of sweet brown soup at the bottom. The Rotti bread was so burnt that it was inedible and it was also oily. Paid $36 for the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Quality of the food was very underwhelming...
Read moreThese guys are only open for lunch on a Friday, dinner most other days of the week. The owner cooks the lunch service - you can tell because the food is authentically Thai 🤤 We had the Steamed Whole Fish (Pla Nueng) - steamed with vegetables with Ginger sauce. I'm pretty sure it was Barramundi. We also had jasmine rice & jasmine tea. They have a $12 lunch special which we'll try next time. It was a really good lunch & we highly recommend dropping in on the friendly staff, or calling to make a booking. As at 10th March 2023, staff advised their website is under construction & is not presently correct. They're happy for customers to call with...
