Possibly the coolest place on the planet. It’s like a portal to the awesome dimension opened up, a coffee shop fell out, and our boring mortal plane is all the better for it.

Pat (the owner) knows everyone by name and has the superhuman ability to make us all feel comfortable and seen- all on top of doing the actual work of running the business.

Alannah is kindness personified. Makes an excellent coffee, and is always willing to have a chat. My kids talk about her on the days we don’t go have a coffee, so if that’s not the highest praise, I don’t know what is.

Angie and Emily are new to the team, but seeing as how only the coolest cats work at Vim, obviously they are the coolest of cool.

If you’re reading this review, you’re probably wondering what the coffee is like.

The short answer? It’s fantastic. The longer answer I can’t give you- you’ll just have to come to Vim for yourself and let the passionate people behind the counter speak for themselves.

This is the most fabulous, coffee shop that I have been too and judging by the reviews I can tell that they do a whole range of vegan and gluten-free options would like to try their foods sometime. I had an almond latte I was amazed at the texture and the crema of the coffee, the Barista used the very popular brand of coffee beans “Campos” and he used “Milk Lab” Almond Milk, Milk Lab is a highly recommended choice of milk for coffee. It is in a great, quiet, tranquil location located right next to the “South Geelong Train Station”. The cafe seems to be very popular and I am wishing the establishment all the very best with their hospitality endeavours. Thanking you once again for the brilliant coffee. Pat is the embodiment of the namesake of this coffee bar. He is always enthusiastic and goes well above and beyond to make your experience the best it possibly could be.

If you know what you like, you will get the best possible version of that, and if you are unsure or struggle to articulate your preferences, Pat will be happy to guide you to find your perfect preparation and style using his experience, knowledge, and skill.

Biodegradable cups are used, but with suitable care given to the selection of the type so as not to adversely affect the flavour of the coffee made.

Very reasonably priced and uses an in house blend of top quality beans.

An assortment of bakery goods available from an external supplier also available.
