I feel genuinely misled and upset after eating these macadamias. I purchased them assuming they were a clean, natural product — premium Australian-grown nuts, with minimal processing. Instead, I discovered a long list of unnecessary and potentially harmful additives, including MSG (621), flavour enhancers (635), synthetic flavouring, maltodextrin, and soy.

These are ultra-processed and completely undermine the natural health benefits of macadamias. It’s extremely disappointing that a company marketing itself as “Australian-owned” and “premium” would hide this behind vague labelling.

I only read the ingredient list after I started feeling unwell — and I now know why. I am someone who eats clean, avoids inflammatory additives, and makes deliberate health choices. These ingredients have no place in what should be a whole food product. (Relates to the Rosemary & Seasalt and Crunchy Hickory ) The salted version is the best.

Please take this feedback seriously. Consumers deserve clear, honest labelling and food that supports — not harms — their health. I strongly urge you to create an additive-free version for people who care...

Visited today and the products are always amazing. Over the years it has always been a fantastic place to visit.

On this visit, our first in quite a while as we live interstate now. The team there are amazing. We came over the road from the Ginger factory and realised we were only about 20 Minutes from their closing. To the teams credit and Jaidene in particular who made us feel really welcome and non stressed. We were so happy to get brilliant service and helped us to have a great visit and buy lots of wonderful treats to take back home with us. (Most will / might make it home).

The Garden Cafe is also a great feature and really blew us away with how it is looking. It’s such a nice atmosphere enjoying a great coffee and nibbles amongst the plants.

A credit to the lady who has arranged them and put them into an array of displays. We would happily buy many of them if we had the chance.

We will be back again and really loved the feel and experience. Made our day,...

The store has a small range of products. We bought a few large macadamia packs today to give as gifts in Europe. We also bought a small 200g dark chocolate macadamia pack to try (one of the varieties we bought to gift overseas in the large size). So disappointed with the quality. The ratio of chocolate to macadamia was so wrong. I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I guessed it was about 70% chocolate to 30% macadamia. I am guessing the trick is to use the very small macadamias to coat in chocolate (cost of macadamias is greater than chocolate, despite the fact that chocolate costs have gone up). I now won’t be gifting the chocolate covered macadamias as it isn’t a quality I would be happy to gift (The idea was to proudly gift Australian macadamia products). Off to buy from another Queensland brand now. Will be sampling first next time before buying...

Nutworks was a sweet little shop that had a huge variety of flavours available. They had a macadamia experience at the back which showed off some of the machinery and explained the macadamia process. The staff were friendly and helpful and they had some free tastings available. All of the flavours we tried were delicious, but the standouts were the garlic (which the staff member recommended for topping salads with, such a great idea) and the vanilla whole nuts (which come with a key to crack them open easily. Which is fun in its own way.

Great range, friendly staff, and a fun macadamia experience. Nutworks was a delight easy to find and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The store offers a fantastic variety of nuts, chocolates, and local treats, all at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the overall vibe was relaxed and inviting. You can also visit the adjacent Ginger Factory, making it a perfect double stop for food lovers. One of the highlights is watching live demonstrations of macadamias being processed fascinating and fun for all ages
