Cafe Gingers — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

This place has delicious food and is a local business. Cafe gingers Has great burgers, fries, wraps, and other dishes like whole chicken, beer battered fish, sausage roles and vegetable roles. Overall the food choices and the flavours of the meals are great 👍. They also have great coffee and many other refreshments available for good prices.

The service in cafe gingers is normal for a cafe not bad and not over the top, if dining in they just give you your meal and you eat that is enough for me. Most of the menu and meals are on the chalk board above the hot box, easy to read. The ordering desk will mostly have an employee taking orders, can’t really complain about this at all.

The atmosphere in cafe gingers is cool with brick walls with unique paintings which are for sale for fair prices and they are nice to look at while waiting for food. The max amount of people I have seen dining in at this cafe is 7 which is a fair amount of people. There is 4-5 tables 2 big tables which sit around 7-8 people and the rest are normal two seaters, 2 tables are outside under the shade. The tables are cleaned frequently and I’ve never sat at a dirty table.

Have been here three times, food is great however the customer service is absolutely appalling, first time a young blonde girl served me at the counter and my mother asked for a bag or box since we ordered a lot of food and the young girl sighed and rolled her eyes as she got a box and basically threw it on the counter as she stormed off to serve another customer leaving me and my mum to do her job and pack up the food, second time was that same girl again just horrible service and then tonight which was the last time we will be coming there, an older lady this time served us and i asked if they sell orange juice as i couldn’t see any in the fridge, the lady replies “if you looked and there was none in the fridge we don’t have any then” in such a rude manner and this is coming from someone who worked at a fish and chip shop for two years i would never ever treat a customer like that, it’s just...

Ordered the frittata with salad to have there.Food looks very nice all home made. Husband ordered chicken and salad roll and some chips. So we sat down to wait for our meals. Mine came in a take away box by had asked to have here with no cutlery husband got up to ask for some cutlery and was handed takeaway wooden knife and fork had to go back and ask for stainless steel cutlery as we were seated in the dining room. The girl that served us was in a daydream when she served us. Our number was called very early to ask if I wanted my frittata heated and I said yes. Was a bit rude when other people dining there had there meal bought out on China plates with cutlery. Sorry but won’t dine here again such bad service. But...
