Allenby Park — Attraction in Sydney

Walked today after all the rain Sydney has had but it did not change the experience for myself & friend! Magic , loved it despite mud, etc & much hopping to get around it! Sadly a fallen tree across the path to the main waterfall prevented seeing that but enjoyed the other walk towards Government Rd & then returned the way we had come. A sign at entrance to path off Clearview Place would have helped, shown to us by a worker close by helped! Will return when...

This is one of those Google Map nightmare stories. Thankfully i was on a mountain bike and up for an adventure....

But as I was following Google's directions through the Bush I was thinking to myself this doesn't feel right. I think Google is taking the piss?!

I finally find my way back to civilisation again and the first thing I see is a great big band painted sign saying "Google is lying to you, dead end!"

Nice short walk to the falls if you park and walk in the right place and direction.

Suggest to park at Clearview Place, there is a small side lane / path that leads you into the bush. You’ll walk down 3-4 steps and come to a T junction, turn right for the short walk to the falls, otherwise if you’re after more exercise go left, just watch for the webs.
