Spago Warringah Mall — Restaurant in Sydney

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm disappointed because I tried this place when it was first opened up in Warringah Mall, fresh yummy pasta that was delicious! Today I went to order a take away napolitana rigatoni pasta for my 5yr old and the man gave me my takeaway container PIPING HOT the sad thing about this is that I knew instantly it had be shoved in a microwave! I kid you not this meal took close to 50 minutes to be cooled down because it was so hot my hands burnt trying to hold it. I'm so disappointed that the price I paid for $13-$14 for microwaved pasta that I could have done at home. Being that it was microwaved it takes out all nutrients of the meal. So I won't be returning to them and considering the worker handed me a piping hot container knowing it was so hot himself and offered no carry bag! Thanks for letting me burn my fingers and waste...

Terrible customer service - Had high hopes for a new restaurant at my local Mall. Although prices were steep i was still really keen to try it. Unfortunately was met with a rude, abrupt & unhelpful manager.

Had only walked up to the store at 8:20pm on a Thursday night and before even saying anything, was greeted with "No guys we're closed". No hello, no signage saying their shut or Business Operating Times. I had just wanted a coffee if they were still making them.

To clarify, the problem isn't the closing time - it's the attitude.

The other staff tried to smooth his rudeness over which was appreciated when another person said "We do have desserts if you'd like them" albeit pointing at dried pasta.

I understand we all have off days. There's just no excuse...

AVOID! Plenty of better options in the food court.

We got 2 of their schnitzel paninis. The bread was so stale that it was falling apart as I started eating mine. We went back to the counter to complain. Turns out their bread is not fresh but frozen.

We asked for our money back, as we’d had two bites out of one of them and the other hadn’t even been touched.

They refused and would only offer to swap it for something else. We weren’t happy with this as we suspected the rest of the food was of similar quality. We were right, the pizza was average too.

We were there at 10am on a Saturday morning so I’m presuming that’s as ‘fresh’ as it gets.

At $17 a panini, it’s overpriced for...
