I am a regular customer of Nine Yards Coffee. I tasted their coffee varieties first when I went to a local Cafe up here on the Mid North Coast (Brewhaven) which served Nine Yards. One day I had a coffee there later in the day and hence ordered the DECAF. I was blown away by the taste of it and am hooked since. Unfortunately the local Cafe shut down, but I am now ordering the decaf beans online directly from Nine Yards. The quality of the beans and their freshness is amazing. The sound they make when I pour them in the grinder, their shinyness and aroma is absolutely delightful and I can't wait for the next cup of decaf that tastes better than any cup of the caf varieties I can buy freshly brewed here at any Cafe. The customer service, even for online orders, is amazing. The team goes above and beyond to please! 100% recommended. Just sad that I live too far away to actually visit them in their Cafe - so my 5 star rating for 'Food' is for the coffee beans I regularly order. Another 5 stars from me for fast and free delivery! Thank you,...
Read moreEasily the best coffee on the northern beaches! I've tried all the local roaster coffee beans and supermarket beans in my home expresso machine and you definitely pay for what you get when it comes to coffee beans. What I like about the beans, in addition to them tasting amazing (if you like nutty and chocolate notes get the seasonal beans) is that Nine Yards always have freshly roasted beans. When it comes to getting a good double shot out of my home expresso machine, I find the seasonal blend from nine yards to be the easiest to get the right dose from each day. Compared to the supermarket beans of other local roasters I find that I'm constantly messing around with the amount of grind time and the coarseness - even on a day to day basis.
With the nine yard beans I adjust the first cup and then I hardly touch the settings on my grinder.
If you like good coffee - either to drink in a cafe or make at home - Nine Yards is your goto. The food there is amazing...
Read moreThis little haven tucked away behind Waringah Mall is an absolute oasis - couldn't be happier that we found it within our first few weeks moving to Sydney, as it has quickly become our 'second home'. The team are exceptionally friendly, care deeply about their customers and their love for their craft stands out clearly. While we first went for the superb coffee, we have now slowly worked our way through most menu items and can vouch for every single one of them. Although specifically highly recommend the Dukkah Eggs and Chicken Souvlaki Flatbread. And try their treats - granola bar is soooooo scrummy! Make this a regular stop in your routine, or travel far to come here. It's so worth it and you will feel the love. Very much looking forward to visiting their new additional venue, The Brightside Cafe, in Mona Vale...
