This foreshore park is a tribute to the wise people of Sydney who over the years have spared so much of the beautiful harbour surrounds from development or in cases such as this and Cockatoo Is have returned them to general leisurely usage. Of course I am biased as my Dad John Merrington with his 21 years on Hunters Hill Council played a key role in the Reserves development.
