We always come here for our groceries & florals, However the service for the flowers section has been such a let down.

We went over a week ago to make a bunch for our friend that had recently received bad news, we went in at 5pm with the knowledge of closing time at 7pm, we were not greeted or acknowledged, instead the young girl was taking away the arrangements we were looking at, as the ones that were on display looked dead and not appealing to us we wanted to make our own bunch, as everything was being taken away we were asking for certain styles and we given dry replies, we were asking for advice and assistance but felt like an absolute pain, after giving the roses we picked and asked for a certain greenery filler, we wanted a specific wrapping paper but were told we hadn’t spend enough so we added more for this paper, then we were given the bunch that didn’t have the greenery we wanted, however we left but felt unsatisfied

My sibling had then went a few days later and came home with the exact same service!! And we hadn’t even communicated our experience before this. He felt dismissed and like a bother whilst he was trying to arrange a whole rose arrangement.

We always had the best service here which kept us coming back, I highly recommend some training or encouragement when it comes to assisting customers as you never know who they are buying for & good service...

This is the best fruit and veg shop in Sydney. Better than Harris Farm. Better than David Jones Food Hall. Better than any Eastern Suburbs attempt at commercial ā€œfresh produceā€.

So let’s go through it. Red capsicums - $8kg @ Woolies? - today $3kg. Desiree potatoes? Get the 5kg bag for $12. Not green. Not sprouting. Excellent quality. Ripe - but not too ripe - Avocadoes (3 for $6).

Next, five ladies behind the counter continuously slicing the best range of ā€œsliced meatsā€ for the queue of customers. They stock the excellent Croatian butchery Ivan’s .Kulin salami is to die for.

Hot bags of freshly baked bread rolls available on the table. There a specialist salted cod fridge - on the bone. Who does that?

Dried pasta range - shapes on offer impressive. Chuck steak (uncut) $10.50kg. Grisbi Italian biscuits - hard to find $4.99. Lemon flavour is the best.

Their pre-coated schnitzels are actually worth buying - they have a real herb and parmesan flavour. Italian mild fennel sausages, without chilli for the kids, are excellent.

Forget Curtis Stone at Coles. Forget Masterchef. Western Sydney knows how to do a fruit and veg shop and this is...

U guys were always our go to fruit shop. But after yesterday my misses aint too impressed. My wife purchased a pork belly for a roast. When she got it home to get dinner started she thought it smelled off. I confirmed it also smelt bad. It was a sale item sure. But expiry still said plenty of days left. When she wanted to exchange it through the manager they requested an additional 15c. Are u serious? Ur roast meat was off and hazardous to our health. It was a total waste of our time driving back and forth . And u want 15c. We spend hundreds in grima brothers weekly. Come on guys. U shoulda given the roast to her for free and given her money back. That would have been fair for the waste of time because u guys...

Range of fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese, dairy and pantry staples all in one shop. Disappointed how some items are advertised - I saw a bag of tomatoes for $2.99, but then noticed in small print beside it kg, so it wasn't that price for the whole bag like I first thought. You do need to know your prices when shopping here, to really know if something is extremely good value. Some of their meat specials are awesome. I was really impressed how their butcher will slice up a large piece of meat if you ask. He is fantastic and did a great job cutting up a piece of oyster blade steak for us.

Been living in Gregory Hills for 11 years but would only shop at Aldi for fruit/Veg and meat. The start of this year is when I decided to make the change to do my meat, fruit and vegetables at Grimas and I haven't been disappointed. Yes the kids are sick of eating chicken breast but when its on special and you can get multiple measl out of it why not. The daily fresh baked rolls are the best I sometimes feel bad buying more the one bag and the Wagyu brisket is amazing....just to name a few things.
