Saturday 18th March between 1:30pm - 2pm.
atmosphere was brilliant. Provides dining comfort.
I had Vietnamese iced coffee. Go to places like Cabramatta, Riverwood, Bankstown, Canley heights, Canley Vale areas and their Vietnamese coffee has strong coffee flavour EVEN when the ice melts. However, with this one, the iced coffee wasn't Vietnamese style at all. You can even taste the difference. It just tasted like ordinary iced coffee. But weak coffee taste. It tasted more of cold milk.
pad Thai, mee goreng, panang curry, sticky rice, ox tongue.... Me and my parents ordered these dishes and I agree with some customers saying the food is average. Other Thai food such as north Strathfield's Thai Paragon is so much more nice and full of flavour!!!
the waitress that serves us and took out orders was very nice, mature and had good personality. She provided good service and she's also quite cute. (Unsure about the ethnicity though, but go in there and you notice a girl with dark hair and cute face, and looks like half Asian and half European appearance). Sorry, didn't ask her for her name as to respect her privacy. Her service was brilliant. The other two waitresses who were Caucasian, they provided good service too.
happy with the service and the comfortable atmosphere. But food and iced coffee, only average.
abit pricey for their portions. Compare to north Strathfield, the portions of each meal were plate-full and the dishes were alot more flavoursome. (Thai Paragon, George St, North Strathfield).
still happy with trying Golden Triangle for the first time though. 😊
once again thank you to the waitress that served us. Happy with her service. I was going to tip each waitress though, I didn't even bring any cash....
Read moreIf you're looking for a restaurant with amazing first impressions, Golden Triangle in Gregory Hills might seem like the perfect choice. However, my experience was unfortunately not up to par. Despite our orders being taken promptly, it took an hour to receive our drinks, which was quite disappointing. The entrees took another hour to arrive, and while we gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the busy Mother's Day rush, we were still left waiting for the mains for another hour.
When the mains did arrive, we were even more disappointed to find that many of them were cold, including the lamb shanks and red curry. Even worse, the steamed rice was also cold, and took an additional 20 minutes to arrive after the mains. All in all, the quality of the food was subpar and unsatisfactory.
Our meal was a far cry from the dining experience we had hoped for. To make matters worse, the final bill came out to a whopping $1,107, and to our dismay, they refused to split it among the group. While one of the young waitresses did apologize for the issues with the food, the rest of the staff were unfortunately rude and dismissive.
In light of my experience, I regret to say that I won't be returning to Golden Triangle in the future. The lackluster food, slow service, and indifferent staff made for an experience that fell far short of my...
Read moreWe ate here on a Saturday night, at 6.30pm service was extremely slow. 35 minutes to take our order, we asked three waiters if we could order before a lady came over to take our order. We ordered several drinks. The lady came back to tell us the bar refuses to sell soda water. My friend had asked for a virgin mojito, when the guy at the bar refused, she asked for a soda with lime, which they also refused to make. Soda water was apparently reserved for cocktails only. "Thr barman runs on a dollar per minute kind of schedule" - unprofessional waitress. Food came out quick and was delicious! However our drinks were terrible. Bar menu does not match what you get. Peach Bellini had no peach purée and tasted like cough medicine. Mojito had no pomegranate and used lemonade (where’s the soda water) and all of our drinks lacked the advertised garnishes. We had already finished dinner and ordered desert before 3 of our cocktails arrived. When the waitress asked if we wanted more drinks, we said only if they do not take half an hour, to which she replied “can’t promise that” and became argumentative saying there’s nothing they can do as someone’s wife was sick? If you can’t staff a bar, close the...
