Thai Infinity Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

I don’t normally complain about relatively trivial things. However I was frustrated at the level of service I received from Thai Infinity Gregory Hills. I picked up the order and took it home before examining the containers. I was annoyed that almost a quarter of the container was missing on all 3 containers. I am sure you know the feeling of receiving food from any Asian cuisine and it is brimming with food to the point it is almost overflowing. I contacted the restaurant and that is when I took offence. The female worker/manager was quite rude and either did not understand my complaint or did not believe me. She claimed that 2 other people visually check the order (which I find hard to believe) and I must be mistaken. I offered to send her photos and she said that she then admits someone made a mistake but it is not her staff. She then went ahead and offered a 10% discount on my next order. This is kind of insulting after her attitude and also the fact that more than 10% was missing from my order. She also offered that if I drove back to Gledswood Hills with the containers she will top them up. Which is ridiculous. I told her I will be posting about this situation and she immediately said that I am threatening her. I ended the call then. So sorry to say this, we have always loved the food and service BUT, our latest experience was not good. We chose our usual menu options and were very disappointed. Ordering over the phone was difficult, the staff member did not understand and needed to repeat our order 4 times to get it right. The food was dissapointing and the customer service on pick up was not good. Perhaps new staff but the person could not operate the till correctly and needed another staff member to come to the counter to sought it out. The meals were disappointing, we had usually recieved very tasty, flavoursome meals but these were lacking flavour and serves were smaller than usual. We dont mind paying a little more for quality but alas the quality was lacking. Tried to advise them and was met with rudeness over the phone. As regular customers we were surprised by the response. Tried when they 1st opened and was unimpressed but gave them another go tonight for take away as it takes new places time to settle in so gave the benefit of the doubt, very poor service. Was told 30 minute wait, part of the order was ready and sat on a table in the restaurant for 25 minutes and a further 30 minutes before the order was completed (total 55 minutes), curry puffs were stone cold, rice had little flavour, Pad-See-Ew with beef (couldn't even chew the meat it was like rubber) To make things I questioned about the food sitting and was told it was a different order.

No apology for the delay, I understand things happen but the care factor was zero. I called to complain and was little concern and said they will make a free dish next time????
