John Wearn park has just gone under a massive renovation with new natural playground looking like a zoo, a big slides, spider web climb, a bamboo tunnel, a big slide, ride on fake animals with sound, 2 fenced grass field for small and big dogs, BBQ under roof, skate and bike rides plateform, an Ampitheatre, a basketball court, car parks and street parking, new toilets...Well done those involved in the project. It's a magic place for my kids and every kid. A great place for family with kids at all ages.

Amazing! Newly renovated. Has absolutely everything you need. Swings, climbing frame, fort with BIG slide, amphitheatre, toilets (which were clean!!!), lots of shade, lots of grass, good bike/scooter track (has hills so only for older kids on scooters), skate park with full bowl, outdoor gym, fenced dog park, ample undercover areas, gas BBQs, African safari animals, tunnel, drums, basktball court, free parking! Really great for all ages!

Somewhat newly renovated park with all different facilities. They have a huge playground and skate park area and also a large area for picnics and barbecues. They also have a huge dog park, one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Both are great and I have never seen so many dogs interacting with each other 🐶 Heaps of parking too. Great to spend the day with your family or to just relax with your dog or even alone!

Fantastic park. There are parking spots on the side street but also a small car park near the top gate. The park has a large slide, poles and ropes to climb, swings, a bamboo tunnel to explore, rope spiderweb and, uniquely, lots of animal statues to explore such as a zebra, lion, giraffe, elephant and monkey. They occasionally make sounds so warn your kids if they frighten easily. The park has modern toilets nearby and also an undercover barbecue area. Further down the hill is a path down to a basketball court with some concrete seating available. There’s a wall on one side but if your ball rolls the other way there are a few sheer drops down to the skate park. There appears to be a mix of younger and older kids skating and scooting together. Our young ones enjoyed it. Further down is a fixed exercise...

This is a great park and skatepark. It's spacious, well spread out, the basketball courts look urban, cool and modern with polished concrete. The safaris themed kids park up the top has a lot of choices for very young children, and they feel safe whilst being fun. The skatepark is fun with a lot of mellow features, manny pad, sloped ledges, launch-able bowl hips, a mellow pyramid, slappy curbs in multiple places around the park and quarters at both ends of the park. It has a 3.5ft mini ramp which transitions into the rest of plaza section of the park, all ledges are metal coped. The bowl has a deep and shallow section. Its a nice and flows well from a verity of angles. The bowl also features a spine splitting the deep from the shallow section. Viewing angles...

Great facilities at this park! It has something for everyone, a playground or scootering for the younger kids, a basketball court with a rebound wall good for tennis, also skateboard pipe for the older kids and grown ups. Good amount of undercover bbq and picnic areas, all well maintained. Designated parking area (not a lot of spaces) or just street parking. Only reason for a star off, if you go when it's busy it can be a little chaotic around the basketball court, you'll be competing for space with kids playing basketball, hitting tennis balls, playing handball, soccer, roller blading,...
