Appalling experience. Although I should say this is one of my favourite Asian groceries around for to their variety and price. However I have never been treated so horrendously in my shopping experience, only if it weren’t for today. Staff roughly grabbed my bag of fresh produce and took half of it away without informing me why. They probably thought I was stuffing more than a bunch of vegetables into the bag, when I did not.
As a regular customer I would not have done something to disappoint them yet this staff member was outright rude and did not explain why she took half of my vegetables away, whilst expecting me to pay the same price. I was more than happy to have a discussion with her but instead of responding professionally, she responded loudly to the entire store in Chinese. I understand if she is unable to speak English or if English is her second language, but there are staff there who are able to translate.
No explanation was given and she did not give me the vegetables that she forcefully took away.

Read moreHere’s an absurd shopping experience I had: While buying vegetables, I grabbed two plastic roll bags, but then decided the vegetables weren't fresh enough, so I put them back. I placed the wet roll bags in my shopping bag because I figured I'd already used them, and it wouldn't be right to just toss them away. Suddenly, an old man stopped me and asked me to take out the bags. He claimed that many people steal bags from their store, and the owner specifically assigned him to watch out for this. Are you serious? Steal two plastic roll bags worth less than 2cents?!I spend at least nearly two hundred dollars every time I shop here, and you think I’d steal the worthless bags? U store it in the freezer n in a packet there is 5blocks of Udon noodles.... Come on over n start shopping lots of variety of Asian goods. The lady (Cathy. L) that did a review about the vegies n didn't understand the staff talking n the language she could on her mobile phone type in English, what u want to ask n translate in either manderian or cantonese.
