Beautiful park. Great little spot amongst the trees. Never realised this is what's under the bridge. Lush green fields, there's a tap to grab water for you and the dog. Seems a fair amount of parking down near the water, though I expect fills up quickly between boats launching and sporting game days. Can also park along the upper streets and walk down the paths to access the fields. Worth noting if editing fields on North Sydney side of the bridge, you can't turn right to head to Northbridge. The footpath through the park is wide but fills with large puddles of water after rain which is a bit annoying and defeats it's purpose as you're forced to walk onto the wet grass. Key for parents: There was a guy with a little coffee cart in the carpark, does toasties as well, very handy pre-game I expect!

Overall, this playground is plenty of fun for the kids (ages 1-8), albeit the swings are for pretty small kids and some of the equipment is showing signs of solid aging and other damage. While the playground may be considered “fenced”, parents should be warned that is a very generous definition - if you are worried about that sort of thing. Kids always escape down the hill to the oval - so be prepared for that. And the bathrooms are a fair hike. So the “I really need to go” refrain is even less welcome here.

Easy to spend an hour or two here. There’s a walk that you can start here which will lead you all the way up to Willoughby Leisure Centre on a track through the bush. The ovals themselves are situated between a valley leading under Long Gully Bridge. There’s opportunity for children’s park, toilets or watching a local game of crickets here on weekends. Parking is alongside the oval and also next to Middle Harbour water boat ramp.

We go for morning walk to this park. Invariably, we observe not less than 20 dogs everytime and most of them are unleashed. The dog owners also do not seem to observe rules of the park. Further, there is water stagnation on the sides of walking rail. Also, no one seems to fix the running water in women toilet. On the waterside, many visitors do not observe safety precautions. May be that is why young families with kids are not seen in this park. Also, boats are parked permanently on sides of the roads leading to park , making it hard to drive, due to limited space available.Requires attention from North Sydney councll, especially bringing some restrictions on movement of dogs in the park and putting " no stopping" signs at...

Playground has a fair bit of variety, best for 3-4 year olds, but one of its strong points is that most of the equipment is usable by toddlers too. There is a tunnel slide, a lookout, a climbing frame, a see-saw. There are two mechanical diggers that have seen better days, but are still good value given that they are rare in parks these days. Further up, there are some swings including an accessible swing and a baby swing.

It is common for there to be dogs both around and often in the playground space. The park is fenced from the road, but exposed to a steep hill down to the...
