I loved this quirky information centre/shop. They have every penguin related gift your heart desires. Unfortunately the town of Penguin, doesn’t actually have any real Penguins. You need to go to Burnie or further East to see any in the flesh.

Strangely this may have been my favourite spot in Tassie on our road trip. Such a quaint little village on the water. A brewery, bakery, info centre etc etc. One of our favourite keep sakes was bought here a "Penguin" Bell. If you are travelling to Burnie or Devonport - have a look - it...

Very lovely and kind staff. They provided useful information. We could see platypi at the arboretum and little penguins at Lilico Beach on the same day! Some souvenirs there were made by volunteers and were well-priced. We hope to visit...
