arrived wednesday very nice thursday big van turned up had noise i think from air conditioners because the thermostat kept stopping and then after Short period turned back on. this continues all night. i banged on his van and in the morning he came over and started abusing me. friday i now have a van near me and his generator has been going all day. i am a quiet camper and these noisy people should have the decency to camp well away from me. i have camped here many times but think i will go elsewhere in future love the spot but there needs to be some policing to stop these...

Delightful place to stop over and take a breather. Walked into town for a pub lunch. Beautiful river stop. Plenty of positions along the shore (get here early if you want to pick a good spot ) or under the trees- plenty choice. Good water to connect and worth the $5 per person per night. The foreshore committee hav3 done an excellent job providing water and a dump point. Basic toilet block with book exchange. Reasonable traffic noise from Newell Highway but no’s such as to...

Fantastic spot for camping. We stayed there over a long weekend and we had a blast. Free camping but get in quick. Remember don't drive on the sand near the river, unless you've tyres are deflated. I took my camper trailer in and got badly bogged. Had to be snatched out. The sand is very loose and deep. There is drop toilets amd no shower but the river is great for dip. 2min drive to Tocumwal for fresh water at the park and IGA and various shops nearby too. Highly...
