I recently visited the "big thing" in Tocumwal and was thoroughly impressed! It's a fantastic landmark right in the main street, and I learned it was the second 'big thing' built in Australia. It's perfect for a photo opportunity and makes for a memorable stop during your journey.
Although it's not a massive structure, the location is excellent. It's a great spot to break up your trip, especially with the convenience of a bakery, cafes, and a park close to the river. There’s plenty of parking nearby, making it easy to access and enjoy.

Overall, this spot offers a pleasant break from driving with the added bonus of good food and scenic views. I highly recommend pulling over to take a look and enjoy the surroundings. You won’t be...

Clean area, decent info signs, family-friendly. Five minutes turns into a solid pit stop. Would...

Very clean and neat and do drop into the Infomation Centre next to the Big Cod too. Camping across the river...
