The Fifth Daughter Cafe — Restaurant in Tocumwal

It seems The Fifth Daughter has been awarded many ‘bests’ in review posted so far. And rightly so! I ordered the vegetable breakfast with double amount of bacon and fried eggs. Along with a pot of English Breakfast tea. Tea was loose leaf and the teapot was a two to three cup size. So apart from the bacon and eggs I enjoyed avacado, silver beet (maybe it was spinach) mushrooms, cheery tomatoes and a homemade relish which was to die for! As a Grey Nomad I get to have many cooked breakfasts and beyond a shadow of a doubt breakfast at The Fifth Daughter is in my Top 5! As I still have half a pot of tea, something sweet was required. we waited 50 minutes watching others who came after us get their food first; for cold, hard ‘poached’ eggs and cold toast. there was no bacon like it said, instead just got ham and the customer service was bad and the employees did not talk or smile at us. one of the ladies were really nice with great customer service.
