Hangdog Climbing Gym — Attraction in Wollongong City Council

We have had two of my daughter’s birthday party’s here now! Her 9th and 10th! Both were amazing! We booked the upstairs section! The space is so big and you can view everything! I loved that I could bring my own Nibbles and cut up fruit as well as getting the pizza catering option. My only suggestion would be to order a couple extra pizzas than suggested as Climbing must be hungry work! Our pizzas were eaten very quickly and I heard a few of the kids a bit upset that they had only had one slice. :( also last year our party host came upstairs with a huge bunch of the harnesses for the children and adults and was so great at explaining to get us all hooked up and climbing and this year our host was great but it was a bit of a hassle going to get our harnessed from the front desk as he didn’t bring them up like they did last year. The kids enjoy this. I get bored waiting. Not a great deal of seating options for observers with lumbar support. The ropes where you don't need someone to help you are a lot better as you do not have to rely on an incompetent person. My son dropped a few metres as the other person was not concentrating and he came home very sore. The kids like the tunnel wall climb thing. As a parent I'm not too keen on this as you have to wait for the kids to come out which is annoying if you want to go. No easy way to get them. Staff seemed fine, I didn't have much to do with them.
