Ordered the linguine with chicken pesto, lasagne, seafood pizza.

The chicken pesto’s flavours were strong and the dish was delicious overall. The chicken itself was not incredibly tender and felt like it has been refrigerated for quite some time before being reheated in the sauce. Overall though, I would get this again.

The lasagne was a bit disappointing. It opted for a very strong tomato sauce but the tartness was overpowering so that you couldn’t taste the mince. Although it’s “homemade”, it reminded me of frozen lasagne. There is a relatively small slice drenched in sauce which makes me think it may be frozen, reheated and then topped with sauce to mask any lack of freshness. In the photo though you can see the puddle of clear liquid flowing from the lasagne which is a tell-tale sign of the lack of freshness. I would prefer a budget lasagne from Aldi to be honest.

The pizza was alright. The seafood pieces itself were good and the texture of the base a classic wood fire. However, the cheese and sauce are very, very mild in flavour and the shrimp actually just slipped off because the top was a bit watery.

The staff were lovely and the food came out quick. Nevertheless, I did not think the price and quality would merit another visit personally.

Oh also, in the Parmesan cheese that customers could sprinkle on, found a little...

Da Orlando is our favourite Italian restaurant near home, so we reached out in dubious hope to see if there was any chance Orlando may possibly cater our engagement party (both pizzas and meals) despite it being on a busy Saturday a week before Christmas with the venue half an hour away. We are forever glad that we did!! Orlando was so accommodating, responsive and helpful to us; he guided us through menu items, portions for guests, logistics of serving and delivery, he went above and beyond in making it work for us amidst his evening of trade and also in endeavouring to make it exactly what we needed - every guest was full and satisfied and I honestly have not stopped hearing about the food from people and how good it was! I can’t thank Orlando enough for helping us with our party, he was so generous in every way and absolutely made our night, cannot recommend...

This restaurant has come highly recommended and I can understand why. The pizza and two different pastas we had were delicious, this was emphasised by the fact some of our meal was gluten free. They also cater for vegans. Next time I go, I would really like to try the homemade gnocchi. I will be critical about three points, a) The location of the eatery is a little bit of out the way if you don't have a car, b) It is fully licensed so NO BYO pushing the final bill up a fair bit if you have a bottle or two of wine with your meal, and c) We felt really rushed. The waiters had nothing to do, and kept approaching us. The food was rushed out, we were still eating the pizza and the pastas came out despite us asking for a break. Sorry for the whinge but it...

On Sunday evening we made a last minute booking for 3 people to eat in De Orlando's since we were a long way from our home in Sydney. We were told that there was no chance that we were to be seated inside the restaurant. Although when we arrived it was completely empty and we asked again to be seated indoors - out of the heat outside and we were blatantly rejected. The restaurant remained empty for the duration of our 40min stay. We were very disappointed. The food portions were quite small despite being offered as main meals and the service was very poor definitely would NOT Recommend
