Always a great place to visit and spend time either for extended picnics or a quick run. There is an excellent range of fun equipment not normally found in recreational play parks; flying fox, Death Star climbing frame, musical pipes. The equipment is suitable for a range of ages under parental supervision.
On my visits, I’ve always observed the park to be clean and tidy. There is seating under cover available.
The only aspect I don’t like is that the toilets are located on the opposite side of the creek away from the park. For natural surveillance, parents will have to accompany children.
I’ve always found a carpark. The main shopping strip is a short walk from the carpark / park.

Read moreKids loved the playground. Fenced off bit for the little 'uns. Bike/scooter path (it's built for "character" more than smoothness: the kids opted for bikes with air in the tyres). There's a walking track that's great for a stroll, with kids on bikes, kids on scooters, and a pram. Some hills though: make sure your kids know how to use their brakes.
Barbeque area was mint. Everything clean. Bench tables are wood, barbeques are free. They're all under the one, large roof. Thinking water and bins are right there. This is now my favourite place to barbeque within an hour's drive...

There's an oval just next to it for older kids, an enclosed playground area for babies/ toddlers, and an awesome array of swings, flying foxes, spider webs and more for anyone aged 3 months to 103 years. Convenient paths, BBQs and shelters along with sufficient tables and chairs....
