Easily one of my top favourite places in the Tablelands Region! I’ve seen Platypus three times in a row now in the span of a couple of months but my latest sighting was the BEST sightings as a saw four of them all out about doing what Platypus do. Must’ve been watching all four of them for a good half an hour. Besides from that, there’s so much other wildlife out here too as you’re not always guaranteed to see Platypus every single time. My tip is head out there during the afternoon and you have a slim chance of catching one or just as many as I saw. They’re as elusive as any other...

A very nice nature walk area, covered shelter and sturdy suspension bridge to allow you to cross the creek to sit on the other side and await the inquisitive tortoise and shy platypus. Was lucky enough to have 2 platypus sightings in the 30 minutes we were there.

Suspension bridge is sturdy and well secured with fencing etc, although I recommend only 1 person cross at a time if you're afraid of modest heights/wobbly bouncy bridges. I didn't make brown but apparently I went really pale at one point during...

What an amazing walk. This spot is the hidden gem of the Tablelands. Not only is it absolutely beautiful, it is marked along the way so you get to know the area, animals and plants. There are also little areas along the way where you can donate to help with upkeep and to preserve this area, please give the change in your pockets and if you don't have any go and get some or put in a note. I was lucky enough to see a Tree Kangaroo along with an adult Platypus and amazingly a baby, what a surprise...

Beautiful walk with lots of Wildlife, but completely spoiled by wildlife tours and bloody wildlife chasers! I am leaving so sad and dissapointed by this behavior, old mate was so damn close, made whole kangaroo family stressed by putting his camera a metre from their faces. If you love animals, respect them and give them their space!!
