Bergbahnen Wilder Kaiser — Attraction in Ellmau

SHAME AND EPIC FAIL TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT with the Easter eggs !!! Something that was meant to be fun for the kids brought HUNDREDS OF KIDS INTO TEARS ! It was meant to start at 11 till 13 - we were there 5 to 11 - just to meet loads of ppl already going down with full helmets, baskets and backpacks leaving none to all the waiting kids … epic fail of organization and securing the site … poor kids and frustrated parents … either claim it from the morning or secure the place at least with a band and few staff ppl till the officially announced opening hour - better take a note for next time … and not scam all the ppl who were still smilingly buying tickets and going up with their kids - just to be the next disappointed … pathetic and shameful - a huuuuuge minus point for Ellmau ski area today 👎👎👎

On top of all - quite rude attitude from the cashier who started yelling on me when I went down to tell them what’s up there and to stop selling tickets to the still coming families with kids and no ski equipment … or at least to tell them the true situation - second...

Absolutely loved it. Best play areas for kids, so much to do, water play, climbing, parks, trampolines, fabulously well designed place, and all very clean and well maintained......., amazing views, nice restaurant, just a fantastic space to spend the day outdoors with the kids. 10 /10 We walked across the top from ellmau to schefal in 45 minutes.. got the lift back down and free bus at the bottom back to our car at ellmau . Tips .. Your accommodation should give you a guest card, use this to get discount when you Buy your lift pass at the entrance to the ski lifts . Take water shoes / clothes that dry easily ...lots of water play areas for kids . Take picnic / water ( ask at the bar to refill your kids water bottles for free ) Check time for Last lifts down or you will have to walk down ( 2 hrs ish) Take a camera ...so many...

Absolutely brilliant 🎿....vast area, varied runs, lovely stops at restaurants......fast moving ski lifts. Ellmau itself a perfect place to stay.....excellent for getting to the nursery slopes (and to the top via Going), but for the ski bus to the gondola to the top of the Hartkaiser.......your passport to hours and hours of wonderful skiing, as well as being a pretty, atmospheric village with a few shops and bars to browse in. We have been coming here for 10 years on and off (only 2 years not), but have concluded that this is the place to come for a perfect skiing holiday. Thoroughly recommend...
