This was a good find, although the walk from the Baggersee bus stop is not so promising. Not too crowded, plenty of places to choose to sit including shade from trees, and a variety of people and a relaxed atmosphere. Water was very clear at the western end of the- so much so you can see the fish - less so elsewhere. It was claimed to be 24 degrees, but there were colder spots although nothing unpleasant. It’s about a 250m swim from end to end, with several pontoons and steps dotted around. Looks like it’s plenty else to do and use: showers, toilets, a sports area, a children’s water play area, a lifeguard monitored area for children, a bar at one end and restaurant at the other.

The water isn't particularly clean but it's great that there's no sand! Instead it's grassy which is very nice as there's no sand that gets stuck to you when you are wet/have suncream on. There's an obstacle course which is fun for all ages (yes, even adults)as well as an area with monkey bars and other metal bars, and there's also a restaurant and a place that sells ice cream. It's cheap to get in, and it's even cheaper after 2pm. The ticket salesperson didn't speak any English though... But it was still quick to get in. It was quite busy but the place is quite large.

Nice place with nice to enjoy an afternoon in the lake. The view of the mountains are very beautiful. It’s possible to swim in summertime.

Water is very dirty.... full of duck shit. Infection outbrake is just a matter of time. The nearby wastewater treatment plant is clearly smellable...... so all in all go there only if you are fine with questionable water igiene and do not forget to take a good shower after a jump in...... a shame...
