Was für ein Erlebnis! Auf der Suche nach einem Mittagsimbiss in der Nähe der Brenner-Autobahn hat uns der Zufall in die Markthalle von Innsbruck geführt. Und wenn wir nicht im Rheinland, sondern in Innsbruck leben würden, würde uns unser Weg immer wieder zu Anjo & René führen. Um dabei zuzusehen, wie sich die Begeisterung für regionale Produkte und das eigene Kochhandwerk zu meisterlichen Wunderwerken für Auge und Geschmacksnerven verbinden. Eine solche Geschmacksexplosion eines vermeintlich "einfachen" Semmelknödels hätte ich nicht in einer Markthalle und schon gar nicht für diesen Preis erwartet. Der Steinpilzschaum war ein Gedicht! Ebenso wie das selbstgebackene Brot mit Aufstrich als Starter, das schon kulinarisch einstimmt auf alles, was je nach Wahl noch folgt. Bei uns z. B. ein richtig leckerer Salat. Soooooo schade, dass kein Platz mehr für den Nachtisch war. Aber die selbstgemachte Praline zum Espresso ließ vermuten, was uns entgangen ist. Sollte unser Weg uns nochmals an Innsbruck vorbeiführen, ist der Abstecher in die Markthalle ein Muss. Danke für diese großartige Bereicherung...

Food is exceptionally great and it is cooked in front of you. Flavours just melt in your mouth and it feels it is your grandma who did it. Staff is very friendly and due to little space you can enjoy nice chat with them. Apparently they change menu daily so you perhaps won’t have the same dish we had. I wish we had similar concept...

AAAAAMAZING PLACE! You have an impression, that guys are cooking specially for you) Family atmosphere, cozy and the main thing - crazy tasty food. The softest steak i have ever eaten, the most tasty fish..but, what I have to notice - its tomato salsa!! Mmmmm and mamf))))) Good boys, very well done. Super...
