We were staying at the hotel so had as much free entry to this basement wonderland as we wanted, and spent a few evenings wandering amongst what is a very eclectic collection of cars, motorbikes, tractors, odd military vehicles and other transport items including a train and cable car thrown in for good measure !
The hotel owner is a genuine enthusiast and has build this over years (and he was telling me he has loads more in another warehouse!) We are classic owners and drivers ourselves, and there are things here I have never seen or knew existed, not all are exotic or particularly valuable, but rare and unique in their own right.
Agree with other comments that the condition of items is very mixed, displays are quite cramped in some places, and its far from perfect BUT there are some real gems to be discovered, and that is the charm of the place.
If you are interested in this type of thing then well worth a visit, if only to support it - still a bit gutted he wouldn't sell me a couple of things though, but I suppose...

Just fantastic for kids and automobile lovers and geeks.
It’s worthy of spending half a day here. Rich descriptions and the vehicles are so well maintained even the Trabants and Ladas - if you ever want to understand the difference in manufacturing quality in Germany and inside the Iron Curtain here are vivid examples.
Fabulous views of the Alps. Extremely small museum given the large number of vehicles.

They restored some of the Porsche's that are there, not with an logo, oh no, just a sticker on the hood. The cars here were placed in to the hall and that was it.
