Cafe & Restaurant Kennidi — Restaurant in Kaprun

Unless you are a white (Caucasian), I advice you not to go. You have been warned!

Edit: I am not the only one to leave your restaurant with this impression. Read through the comments and see for yourself. I love the Alps and have visited Austria multiple time in the last twenty years and I have a very good impression about the Austrian people. I think they are one of the kindest nations in the world. However,

allow me to say this: this was the worst experience I had in all my visits to Austria. I left your restaurant asking myself what wrong did I do to be treated this way. I even tried to confront the lady working there just to ask her Why?; she did not even turn her head to look at me.

At the end, it is your restaurant and you have the right to refuse to serve whom ever you want, but please do not waste our time put a sign on your resturant stating who is welcome...

One of those places you want to score a 6 star. Really friendly staff. For a Friday lunch in September it was almost full. Menu was unique with healthy drink options. And I know a burger is often "just a burger" but I really really enjoyed their Salzburger (photo). Bread was unique, burger and filling was fresh and tasty, and the sauce was a really nice bonus. We are here both at lunch and a couple of times for dinner on a recent holiday to Kaprun and we absolutely love the place. The food is great and the service is superb - the owner is super helpful and lovely. The burgers in particular are amazing - I think the Kennedi burger is the best burger I have ever eaten (and I've had a fair few!) which was a complete surprise to me given the mixture of ingredients - but they work so well!!
