This mosque in Vienna is an elegant addition to the city's architectural landscape. It features a spacious praying area and tall minarets that have become recognizable features of the skyline. The mosque offers a serene and welcoming atmosphere for worshippers and visitors alike. 🕌✨ The large praying area allows for comfortable and peaceful prayer sessions. The mosque's design and structure are impressive, making it a visually striking landmark that has become a notable part of Vienna's skyline. The tall minarets add to its grandeur. 🙏🏼 However, one aspect that could be improved is the parking situation. Unfortunately, there aren't many available parking spaces in the vicinity, which can be challenging for visitors. 🚗😕 It would be beneficial if additional parking options were made available to enhance the overall convenience for those visiting the mosque. Despite this minor inconvenience, the mosque's peaceful ambiance and architectural beauty make it a worthwhile visit. It serves as an important center for the local Muslim community and offers a serene space for prayer and reflection. If you're in Vienna and interested in experiencing different cultures and architectural marvels, this mosque is definitely worth a visit. 🌍🕌✨

This is an excellent mosque (Masjid) in Vienna (not far from the city center of Vienna and on the Danube River). The mosque is large and in an excellent location in a park on the bank of the danube river and near a train station "Neue Donau" station). The mosque has a lovely community that welcomes newcomers. It is very clean and well organized. This mosque was built 44 years ago, and it was recently renovated. It has useful activities for mosque goers, visitors, and local communities. The mosque has a knowledgable Imam. He has a good knowledge of Islamic sciences. If you are a Muslim who lives near (or visiting) Vienna city, come to this Masjid to worship Allah frequently (may Allah accept your good deeds). If you are a non-muslim, please visit this mosque to know more about Islam (the last religion revealed from God "Allah"). The Imam (and staff) of the mosque will be more than happy to welcome you to Islam. For Khutabah: 1:00 PM Friday prayer: 1:30 PM. (These timings as of May 9, 2025) Starting from Friday, May 16, 2025. The timing will be as follows: Khutabah: 2:00 PM Friday prayer: 2:30 PM.

🕊️ Gentle & Emotional

“A mosque should feel like home for everyone — including our children. When I came with my little one, we didn’t feel truly welcome. But Islam teaches compassion, not exclusion. Let’s make our mosques places of love, learning, and belonging — for all ages.”

📿 Religious & Reflective

“The Prophet ﷺ welcomed children in the mosque, showing us by example that they belong in our spaces of worship. Today, some families feel unwelcome when they bring their kids. Let’s return to the Sunnah and open our hearts and doors to the next generation of believers.”

💬 Clear & Assertive

“Mosques shouldn’t be just for adults. I was disappointed when I brought my child and felt out of place. Islam teaches inclusion, patience, and community. Let’s not forget that children, too, have a right to belong in...
