Embarking on a culinary journey at Mangal Steakhouse in the heart of Baku was an absolute delight that left an indelible mark on my dining experiences. Our selection from the menu included the burger, shashlik, and ribeye steak, and each dish was a testament to the chef's mastery in the art of gastronomy. The flavors were not merely good; they were exceptional, revealing a commitment to culinary excellence that earned the restaurant a well-deserved five out of five in my rating.

An absolute highlight of the evening was the recommendation to try the tea and dessert. The tea was a soothing accompaniment, and the dessert was a delightful conclusion to the meal, showcasing Mangal Steakhouse's dedication to providing a comprehensive and satisfying dining adventure.
In addition to the exceptional cuisine and ambiance, the friendly staff and excellent service added to the overall positive experience. The attentive and welcoming demeanor of the staff further contributed to making our visit memorable.

Read moreI recently dined at Mangal Steakhouse, hoping for a memorable culinary experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were not fully met.
At the start they didnât offer any complementary (no bread & butter nor crackers or anything). I ordered the Quzu New York steak, which was a major disappointment. The flavor was incredibly bland, scoring a mere 3 out of 10 in my book. Additionally, it had an odd, unpleasant "lamb-like" aftertaste from itâs sticked fat that you canât differentiate from the meat until you chew it, that made it quite unappetizing. On the other hand, the burger was decentânot remarkable, but acceptable. However, the accompanying French fries fell short; they were the frozen variety, lacking the freshness and crispness I look for in a good side dish. Prices are very high compared to the quality received, I asked for a barbecue sauce where it was surprisingly charged for 7 AZN at the bill which was 82.5 AZN ( 48.5 $ ) for 200 gr steak, a small burger with frozen fries and a cola (and of course the Barbecue sauce).
That said, the restaurant's atmosphere was wonderful. The menu design as a newspaper is a brilliant idea. The decor was tastefully designed, creating an inviting and visually pleasing environment. The live music was a thoughtful touch, though it didnât suit my personal taste. Still, I appreciated the gesture, as it added to the overall ambiance.
In summary, while Mango Steakhouse excels in atmosphere and presentation, the food qualityâparticularly the steakâneeds significant improvement to match the premium dining experience they...
Read moreI hardly ever write reviews, and itâs shame that one person (waiter), ruined the whole experience. After all the hype, I struggled with formula one traffic for 45 mins for a 3.9 KM journey. I was wowed when I walked in. Took around 15 mins mins to get the menu, then another 15-20 mins to take our starters. To my shock, all decently priced items on the list were not available for me, al the over priced items were surprisingly available and waiting for me. Disappointed in myself, and because the time it took to come here, I ordered all the items suggested to me by my waiter. 2 different kind of steaks and other meat on the side. All the meat was way overcooked, dry as hell. My partner, who was dying to eat there stopped after a bite. As a god fearing person, I cannot waste his blessings and waste the food. I swallowed all I could, but couldnât finish it. All probably cuz, the waiter was having a bad day or this is how the restaurant operates. Hearing the people behind my table, I think this is how the restaurant operates. If you like to post your food on social media without eating it, this is the place. I recommend Mado for good quality and tasty food. If I gave it one star, you will probably think Iâm taking a personal vendetta on the place, it doesnât deserve any in my opinion. I would name the waiter, but a restaurant is represented by each and every employee working there, and itâs not my job to rate...
