Free beach right off the cruise port bridge. Easily walkable from ships.

Pros: Great view, proximity to cruise ship, no cost to entry

Cons: Smell. Not sure but I think there's a sewage treatment plant at the top of the hill. Much less noticeable closer to the water. It is what it is.

Other notes: Beach itself is free if you want to just bring towels and hang out. Anything past that, be ready to (over)pay for things (typical for vacation destinations).

23/chair rental for the day. 17/umbrella. 57 - 2 chairs and umbrella (they do take cards). If you get food, there will be an additional auto gratuity and tax added in at the food trucks.

Be warned, a single burger and fries will run about $23 after the add-ons. The 2 $22 orders of coconut shrimp turned into $56 after add-ons. No idea on drinks (but expect the same).

Don't trust the porta-potties to have toilet paper.

All in all, not bad for the price (free) once you get past the occasional stinky loft of air. You get what...

Free beach at the end of the pier. They must have some issues with jellyfish, because when I went back to the ship, the security guard asked me if I saw a lot of jellyfish. I didn’t see any though. If you wanted 2 loungers & an umbrella, it was $60. Cabana was $225. Virgin Cruise line beach resort was $59 (according to the tram driver) for Celebrity cruisers, and $54 for Carnival cruisers. I rode the free tram that goes to Virgins resort world beach, but I didn’t get off. Just made a loop around and back to the ship. I would go back to the free beach. Water was clear. Very nice with just a little trash on the...

Nice little beach right next to the cruise port. There was a bit of seaweed but the water was SO CLEAR! It was beautiful, you can rent 2 chairs and an umbrella for $60 or a cabana that fits 6 for $225. They got some port a potties and some food/drink trucks there as well. They also have a place to spray sand off you which is nice as well. I liked being able to stay close to the ship but you can also take a shuttle to the...
