Museum De Reede — Attraction in Antwerp

The entrance cost was 8 euros (adult). It is a great museum with beautiful collection of litographs and prints. The diamonds are works of Edvard Munch and Francisco Goya. I've seen their graphic for the first time and was really shocked and impressed with the strong emotions that artist was able to create without colours. Museum De Reede is a fantastic museum filled with a great range of drawings, etchings, lithographic prints, etc from a number of international artists. Munch's works are a fascination to see, I felt really grateful to be seeing his prints in Antwerp - a city with such a great historic and artistic past. The first thing that caught my attention was the building. This private museum is located in a cool residential building. I was curious about the collection but was blown away by it. It consists only of lithographies by 3 artists, Goya, Munch and Rops but it is far from being poor or dull. I particularly loved Munch's work and it ended up being a very pleasant surprise.
