It can be difficult to choose chocolates in Belgium, there are stores in practically every corner saying they are the best etc. We came to this store because we were in Antwerp and wanted to try something local. There was a large selection and the first thing that surprised us was that price, a mere snip at €5 for 4 pieces. I had been to Neuhaus and Mary in Brussels and while they were very good I found the prices slightly unpalatable. None of that problem here. I’m so glad we popped into this place. What a surprise and a treat! The gentleman running it was so helpful and spoke great English. He helped us pick out some incredible chocolate pieces and even gave us a free sample if we left a review! The quality of chocolate is unlike any I have ever had. This definitely ranks as a top for me. Even some of the Christmas Market booth owners recognized the brand and agreed it was the best! After visiting several other chocolate shops, this is by far our favorite.The gentleman who helped us was very kind. You can tell he has been doing this for generations. When packaging our items he realized some of the chocolate had gotten slightly soft in the display case so he went and gave us from his refrigerator stock. The prices were reasonable compared to the other shops and the chocolate is absolutely delicious. He also has italian ice cream too. We wished we stayed in Antwerp...
