Der Parc Seny bildet eine grüne Verbindung für Tiere, die sich hier ohne Unterbrechung entlang des Flüsschens Woluwe bewegen können. Er bildet auch ein wichtiges Element der Brüsseler Wasserflächen. Die Idee, an dieser Stelle einen Park einzurichten, durch den die Woluwe fließt, stammt aus den 1950er-Jahren, d. h. einer Zeit, in der in Brüssel zahlreiche Grünflächen angelegt wurden. Die Aussicht auf die Weltausstellung 1958 sorgte dafür, dass das Projekt schon bald Form annahm: Angelegt wurde eine Art Arboretum mit insbesondere duftenden Bäumen, Sträuchern, Pflanzen und Blumen. Der 1963 eingeweihte Park trägt bis heute den Namen der letzten Eigentümer der Mühle. Er ist Teil des Naturschutzgebiets Natura 2000, das in Brüssel den Soignes-Wald und seine Waldränder, die bewaldeten Anwesen rundherum und das Tal der Woluwe umfasst.
