Waterloo Tourist Office — Attraction in Waterloo

First of all - lady in the office is very nice. And gave all info that we want and valuable tips and also proposed to call taxi if needed.... But... We were informed that we can get to Lions Mound by bus W or 365, but due to roads repairs we must go to the bus stop located on the road opposite to Information (Av Reine Astrid) We have got there, but we looked at line marking at the bus stop and there was no any info about buses W and 365. If no marks, then it was obvious for us that we must walk further to next bus stop... But next bus stop have also no any marks of 365 or W buses...... We go forward this street maybe 2 km.... 2-3 W buses drove just next to us during going forward and back... During getting back we thought that despite the lack of marking W bus will stop on bus stop, so we wait.... and W bus drove just next to us (and despite waving my hand, the driver did not stop at the bus stop....!!!!!) It turned out that bus is stopping only on first bus stop (but I don't understand why since there are no markings on both)...

To sum up - terrible organization on the part of the transport company and the city. We had to cancel visiting the Lion's Mound (becouse lack of time)..... This is not how...

Waterloo Tourisme saved our family outing to the Waterloo battlefield!!!! I cannot thank Manon enough for going above and beyond expectations!! We did not realize that the Waterloo train stop was so far from the battlefield. Manon explained the issue and our options. She helped secure a taxi to the battlefield and also arranged one for our return, keeping in contact via Whatsapp. While we waited, our children enjoyed the informative historical displays on the second floor. If we were not pressed for time to make our return train, we would have spent more time at Waterloo Tourisme exploring their extensive collection of books...
